About Buying Art
Hi.
My name is Rob Anderson.
I am an artist, a designer, a furniture manufacturer and a marketer.
Back in 1996 or thereabouts my wife and I started to manufacture hammocks, baby cribs and other outdoor furniture from our home.
The business flourished and we eventually had the factory as our full income source for close on to 12 years.
Along the way all sorts of designing and crafty things where happening and pretty soon it became apparent that I would need to do art on a full time basis.
This I did and worked through a number of different styles trying to find where I was the happiest.
Strangely enough I found that I am happiest not being driven by commission deadlines and now any art works that I do are on a commission basis that is set in my favor.
Sorry.
Quite simply put I do not enjoy pressure put on me by others I only thrive on the pressure that I put onto myself.
Odd – yes , I know.
Finally I would like to add that if you are an artist and would like to find out how to get your products promoted and selling online you are welcome to call me and I would love to give you the advice.
In fact I would set up your first website for free.
